A Conversation with Dave Lakhani
When Dave Lakhani left the religious cult he grew up in at age 16 he gave himself until age 25 until he figured he'd be dead.
"When you only have 8 years left to live, you realize that you have a lot of things you need to cram in before dying," he remembers.
That led him to the Caldwell Public Library where he read everything he could get his hands on about persuasion. He was on a quest to figure out exactly how the cult could brainwash him and his family so effectively.
In short order, through his studies and experience, Dave became a leading expert on persuasion tactics. This knowledge he decided to apply to the business world, where he taught business owners and entrepreneurs how to craft a brand and sell themselves to the buying public.
In this interview Dave shares his story and shows us how to building a personal brand helps us connect better to those around us.
